Duarte Catarino is the founder and principal of DLC-I. A civil engineer with an MSc in Project Management from Northwestern University, he has spent 25 years developing and delivering major projects across Europe with VINCI, Lend Lease and AECOM. At AECOM he served as Managing Director for the Netherlands, Belgium and France, leading a €150M business of 400 staff across three business lines, and later as Global Lead of the Project Management Technical Practice and Energy Transition Growth Director for Continental Europe. He built AECOM's construction services business in Northern Europe from 4 to 160 people and led development for Lend Lease in the Benelux and France. He works in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch.
